Lower Left Wing is Taking Shape – Very Cool

And the lower wing ribs are done. We spent most of the morning cleaning up the lower wing ribs. Taking a plane to the outside, leveling down the gussets and any glue that dripped on the profile. Next we cleaned up the spar openings with a file and sanding plate. Once done we cut the lower spars to size and planed the spar tips for the decreasing airfoil to the tip.

Once the spars were planed and the ribs cleaned up we test fit the ribs on the spar. This was exciting because its starting to look like a wing.
